Now, the dragons have not been seen for many years and the beats are much fewer in number, in this time the land has become more barren and the conflicts are between men.

But have the dragons all disappeared? What lies in the murky depths of Lake Tuin?

Read The Borsidian Chronicles and become part of the unfolding history.

About the Author

I started writing when I was 10 and at 13 years old, I had my first story published in the school magazine. Since then, I have written many different stories, children’s books, murder mysteries and young adult fantasy fiction, although I never felt any of these books were good enough to be published.

The first draft of what was to become ‘The Borsidian Chronicles’ was written in 1992 after I was made redundant in Germany. It took 3 months in a basement and then was put on a shelf for ten years and forgotten about. I was moving house and found it again and after rereading it, made a vast amounts of edits and rewrites. It was filed away again, only to be found on another house move  in 2013. Upon finding the manuscript, and after rereading it again, I completely rewrote it.

In January this year, after reading it through again and with some urging from Julz, my wife, I decided to publish it. I reworked the whole story again and it now stands as a Young Adult fantasy fiction saga, the first book from it being called ‘Born of Ashes’.  I am still creating the imaginary world of Borsidia, so this book will be one of many.

It has been a labour of love and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did when I was creating it.

When I’m not writing, I am a Life Coach, Debt and Money Coach, a husband, granddad and puzzler. I returned to faith a few years ago and now at 66, I volunteer as a writer for our Church and for Christians Against Poverty (CAP), where I use my coaching skills to help others.
